Encouraging People to Pray
What should we do ?
Prayer should be moved to the centre of our life as a church. Every decision, every activity and every person in the church should be prayed for. Use the Church Prayer Diary regularly and keep it up-to-date (see Noticeboard for amendments).
How can we do it ?
- Attend the monthly Church Prayer Meeting on the first Sunday of each month.
- The Prayer Room in No 36 has been equipped and is open at set times for both private and corporate prayer.
- We will arrange occasional Prayer Retreats.
- We will promote the prayer time before the Sunday morning service.
What can you do ?
- Use these opportunities to develop your own prayer life and to pray for the church and community.
