Is it theologically possible to be un-baptised?
No, not losing my marbles (yet) or my faith, but was intrigued by another TV news report this morning on BBC Breakfast, a man who has become a militant atheist, but was baptised 50 years ago as a baby in the Cof E, is demanding to be un-baptised...............The Bishop of the diocese in question has told him that this is not necessary as "being Christened does not itself confer Church membership (!!) therefore all he needs to do is make a public statement of dissasociation with his baptism. The man himself wants his name removed from the Baptismal register, which the Bishop is refusing to do.
The atheist movement has now produced it's own "UN-Baptism Certificate" in response to a "growing demand" (Yes, another one of those... :|
