“My home group is like an extended family. We have had some great Bible studies and some fun socials (involving theatre trips and wonderful home-cooked food). But most importantly, we have built close Christian friendships and have shared in each other’s joys, as well as supporting each other through the hard times” - Penny
"My home group is a place where I can relax with friends, drink coffee, find out more about each other's lives, and occasionally meet new friends. We alsio have about three-quarters of an hour Bible study led by one of us, and then pray about issues arising from the study and for each other's needs." - Alan

Home GroupsIn a Sunday morning service, it is difficult to get to know everyone - and all of us need to find a place where we can develop friendships and share at a deeper level. We have seven home groups which meet, as their name suggests, in homes right across the neighbourhood. These meet at different times of the day and on different days of the week. As you might expect, each group has its own unique character and atmosphere but there are a number of key features which are common to all of them:
It is our aim that groups should be a focus for our discipleship - not just increasing our knowledge and giving mutual care and support, but helping us to live out our Christian faith in our family, neighbourhood and work contexts. |
