Neil  -  I am married to Sarah, with 2 children Joshua and Tobias. I work as a commodity trader (selling beans!) in London. My interests are time with my family, playing, watching and listening to as much sport as possible, going to the gym, takeaways and going out for meals (which is now rare with kids).
My favourite bible passage at the moment is Ephesians 2 verse 4 and 5 and favourite songs are “I can only imagine”, and “You're the love”.

Carol is a paid worker for the church, heading up our Children and Community Work. She has been married for years, has 3 grown-up children and many beautiful grandchildren. Jobs outside church include respite care, homesitting for Cheviots, being a mother, homemaker and grandmother. Among Carol's many interests are long walks, swimming, pictures, going to the sea side at least once a month, sitting in her back garden listening to the water feature - fantastic. Her hobbies include knitting, listening to music, gardening, visiting museums and old castles. Her favourite scripture is "I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me" and her song is "Be thou my vision."

Alison leads our community work based on No 36. She is married to Peter and has 3 lovely children: Emma, Sam and Elizabeth. She works in a boys' secondary school in Newham as a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher. Alison writes : "I love the garden, trying to make things look beautiful, the Archers and going swimming (though I don't do that half as much as I mean to!)". Her favourite passage of scripture are Psalm 103 and also Exodus 34 v 8, where God proclaims who He is to Moses, but she says it is very hard to choose favourites out of all the wonderful words of the Bible.

Susanna has a training and mentoring role within the church. She is married to James and has one kitten pending. Susanna works as a Training Officer for Enfield Council. She lists her interests as going to dance classes, pootling in the garden, a good book, the odd gym workout, a nice 'cup of tea and a sit down' chatting with friends (preferably after a spot of shopping!). Her Bible passage is Psalm 103. As for a song, it changes frequently! At the moment, "Great is thy faithfulness" often pops into her head.

Laura - I'm responsible for outreach. It just so happens that I love Jesus, chatting and getting know new people - very handy! By day I teach English and Drama to teenagers. By night (when I'm not collapsing in a heap) I love socialising, especially when there's a good story that needs telling. I also love the arts, shopping and travelling.
My favourite scripture is 'He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion until the day of Christ return' (Philippians 1:6) because it reminds me that the Big Guy is in control, that he has a plan for me (and it's GOOD) and most importantly that he's coming back : ). My current favourite is the one about renewing our strength as we wait on the Lord. I love the chorus as it declares who God is and what He can accomplish in us. '

Sarah - I am responsible for co-ordinating Home groups. I am married with two children, Joshua aged 5 and Tobias aged 19 months. I am a full time housewife and after looking after my family, my hobbies include reading, socialising with friends, going out for dinner and theatre.
My favourite piece of scripture is Proverbs 3: 5-6, which has spoken to me a lot over the last 2 years.

James - Responsible for developing the worship ministry at Brig. I have been married to Susanna for 11 years and have 1 beautiful little girl who is currently going through a ‘daddy cuppa tea?’ phase. I have spent most of my adult life having a go at carpentry and music. Not usually at the same time.

Ben - Benjamin is married to Lorna with a daughter called Bethany, who is the apple of his eye. He is a teacher of science and psychology and is kept busy keeping his pupils enthused and interested.
His interests include chess, motorcycles and reading. He likes listening to Bruce Springsteen and his spiritual heroes include Johnny Cash and his Nan.
He has many favourite verses but one that sticks in the mind is found in 1 John 12: " and to as many who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, born not of the will of flesh or the will of blood, but the will of God."
